About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Building Management System (BMS) Engineer with hands-on expertise in Siemens or Trend systems to join a team on a 6-month contract in Scotland. This is an exciting opportunity to work on state-of-the-art BMS systems, ensuring the smooth operation and optimization of building infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, commission, and maintain Siemens or Trend building management systems.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical faults and ensure system functionality.
  • Carry out scheduled and unscheduled system upgrades and modifications.
  • Provide detailed documentation, including reports and operational procedures.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure systems meet performance requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and industry standards.






Requirements

  • Proven experience with Siemens Desigo or Trend 963/ IQVision systems.
  • Strong understanding of BMS engineering principles, controls, and instrumentation.
  • Proficiency in system diagnostics, fault finding, and commissioning.
  • Relevant qualifications in Electrical, Mechanical, or Controls Engineering.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.






Desirable Skills

  • Experience with integration of third-party systems (e.g., BACnet, Modbus).
  • Familiarity with energy efficiency solutions and optimization strategies.
  • Certifications in Siemens or Trend BMS systems.
