Role: Payroll Advisor
Location: Glasgow City Centre
Looking to elevate your career and have sole responsibility for ensuring the monthly payroll is processed accurately and working closely with Finance and HR for a leading, ambitious employer?
You will be working closely with the Finance and HR team, and senior stakeholders across various departments.

Our client is ideally looking for someone with experience in a payroll environment and a thorough understanding of payroll, benefits and rewards, and has excellent experience in Microsoft Office who is looking for a new challenge and the opportunity to thrive within a high-profile role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing the organisation's monthly payrolls ensuring compliance with signing off processes once completed
- Ensuring all payroll records are correctly maintained and updated timeously
- Solely responsible for the relationship with the payroll bureau provider ensuring monthly review meetings are scheduled; feedback is provided and any issues are dealt with timely to then escalate to the HR Director
- Providing monthly payroll reports to the Finance team Maintaining standardised documentation for audit compliance to mitigate any potential risks
- Able to identify and implement process improvements
- Ability to articulate technical payroll support on queries
- Updating payroll procedures as required and share any process changes with the HR and Finance teams
- Maintaining standardised documentation for audit compliance to mitigate any potential risks
- Ensuring statutory payments are correctly documented and processed in accordance with legislation
- POC between Finance and HR departments on payroll and budget monitoring.
- Maintaining and providing monthly payroll budget v actual cost analysis reports to the Finance Team, ensuring all staff movements are captured.
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in payroll
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent IT skills - strong in Excel
- Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
- Strong organisational skills
- Can do attitude in a fast paced environment
