Your new company

A well-known legal firm in the Central Belt is working with Hays to find a candidate who will join them as a part-time Payroll and Benefits Administrator. This individual will join the team on a permanent contract. The position is office-based. The hours of work are 30 hours per week. They operate Monday to Friday, 8.30 am to 5 pm, Monday to Thursday, and 8.30 am to 4 pm on Fridays, offering flexible work.Your new role

In your new role, you will be responsible for end-to-end payroll, running three monthly payrolls for 250 people, analysing data, checking for variances, performing reports back to management, bank journals, reconciliation of payroll accounts, administration of year-end returns, and making payments to third parties. Dealing with sundry payroll matters such as P45/P60 and P11D experience would be beneficial.

What you'll need to succeed

In order to succeed in the role, you will have relevant experience in a similar role within payroll and be a proficient user of Excel. You will also be able to work to tight deadlines on your own and as part of a team. You will be experienced at running both weekly and monthly payrolls.

All applicants must have the UK right to work and clearly demonstrate UK payroll experience.
