Are you currently working in a busy Finance team and looking for the next step? Would you like to develop and learn skills in Payroll? My client has a fantastic opportunity for someone who is motivated, keen to develop and who takes pride in their job. Salary circa £25k depending on experience. Great location in Glasgow city centre with excellent links to public transport.  Hybrid working.You will be supporting our Head of Payroll with all aspects of the payrolls, related accounting tasks and supporting the wider finance team when required.You should bring strong organisational and time management skills and be able to work both independently and as part of a team.Key responsibilities:• Processing of  payrolls across the Group, liaising with international bureaus and processing accounting journals and reconciliations• Support on UK payroll, with internal training provided to progress towards end-to-end processing and various associated accounting tasks and analysis• Ensuring all employees, statutory bodies and third parties are paid accurately and on time• Delivering high quality administrative service to key stakeholders• Supporting the finance team on ad-hoc tasks or projectsTo be successful, you’ll need:• Intermediate knowledge of Excel • Strong organisation and time management skills• Professional approach with accuracy and attention to detailTo find out more please contact Linda Currie or apply on the linkPertemps acts as both an employment business and an employment agency.
