We are currently looking for an Offshore Client Representative starting April 2025 for a six month contract to oversee various surveys on board the vessel.

We are seeking an experienced Client Representative to oversee offshore survey operations and ensure the successful delivery of contracted work. Acting on behalf of the Company, the Client Representative will be primarily based offshore, with onshore support, and play a key role in monitoring and assessing contractor performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the survey contractor complies with contractual obligations, Risk and Method Statements (RAMS), and the Company’s HSE standards.
  • Foster a collaborative and supportive offshore environment while maintaining a safety-first culture.
  • Provide clear and effective communication between all offshore and onshore stakeholders.
  • Represent the Company professionally, upholding its values and maintaining high standards of conduct.

Pre-Survey (Onshore)

  • Review and ensure proper implementation of project documents (PEP, ERP, RAMS, MMMP, etc.).
  • Modify and communicate necessary changes, following Management of Change (MOC) procedures.

During Survey (Offshore – 4-Week Rotation)

  • Oversee survey operations, working 12-hour shifts.
  • Ensure adherence to procedures and safety standards, stopping unsafe acts when necessary.
  • Represent the Company in vessel meetings and discussions.
  • Monitor survey progress, reviewing daily deliverables, QA/QC tracker, and performance stats.
  • Verify contractor compliance with HSE, welfare, and environmental requirements.
  • Check equipment calibration, consumables, and survey data quality.
  • Ensure geophysical sensors and mitigation plans (MMMP, UXO detection) are executed correctly.
  • Collaborate with survey teams to address data gaps and review mobilisation reports.
  • Regularly update the Survey Manager and client on technical and HSE matters.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in offshore survey operations.
  • Strong understanding of HSE regulations and contractual compliance.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work offshore for extended periods.
