Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Manager

Irwin and Colton have been engaged by a growing specialist contractor which work on a range of property services in the Glasgow region, to recruit their new Safety, Health, Environment and Quality Manager. This particular role will be leading on Health, Safety, Environment and Quality compliance across multiple sites whilst working on the ISO Management System. The role is critical to ensure the continued success and performance of the company.

Responsibilities of the Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Manager

include:

  • Co-ordinate and communicate new SHEQ initiatives across the business
  • Leading on SHEQ Management Systems ISO9001, 14001 and 45001, ensuring the management system and best practices are implemented successfully throughout the business
  • Regularly visit sites, auditing SHEQ performance and acting as the key point of contact on management systems matters across the organisation
  • Accurately reporting on performance and communicating this across the organisation.

The successful Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Manager

will have:

  • NEBOSH Certificate (essential) or NEBOSH Diploma (desirable)
  • Proven experience in a similar SHEQ Manager role in construction
  • Excellent communication skills with proven experience engaging a wide range of stakeholders
  • A keen eye for detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team is essential.
