Aspire Personal Development Services is an employee-owned organisation committed to the ongoing development of both the individuals we support and the staff teams who work with them.
Our 17-bedded female-only emergency accommodation service operates 24/7, 365 days a year, providing short-term accommodation and tailored support to empower individuals to achieve positive outcomes and transition into independent living.

Core Purpose of the role:

You will join a small relationship driven team in a fast-paced environment who are dedicated to developing and enhancing our current Support Service experience.

The Project Manager will manage the service, supported by the Regional Manager, ensuring it is outcomes-focused and supports individuals in moving to more independent accommodations. Responsibilities include operational management, resource allocation, and leading a team that provides housing support.

Some of the key aspects to the role (but not limited to):
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve service delivery and outcomes for the people we support.
  • Ensure that all Accidents, Incidents, Follow-Up reports, and any other notifiable occurrences follow correct procedures and accurately reflect the nature of the service.
  • Implement policies and procedures to enhance service effectiveness and ensure best practices.
  • Lead, inspire, and develop a dedicated staff team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Provide coaching, supervision, and performance management to build a skilled and motivated workforce.
  • Be skilled and confident in leading on employee relation concerns, including managing grievances, disciplinaries, and conflict resolution in line with organisational policies and best practices.
  • Demonstrate efficient rota management skills, ensuring adequate staffing levels while minimising agency dependency and optimising cost-effectiveness.
  • Engage with stakeholders, including supported individuals, families, staff, and external partners, to gather insights and feedback.
  • Work within financial parameters and optimise resource efficiencies.
  • Ensure the efficient allocation of resources to meet the needs of service users effectively.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimise staff rotas, minimising the use of temporary agency staff.
  • Manage budgets effectively, ensuring financial sustainability and resource efficiency.
  • Strengthen relationships with external partners to enhance service provision and referral pathways.
  • Conduct regular service reviews and audits to maintain compliance with all regulatory and contractual requirements.
  • Work in conjunction with the Learning and Development Manager to support training sessions and workshops to build capacity and enhance skills within the organisation

  • Experience of working within the care sector.
  • Experienced in resourcing, planning and management of staff.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop and maintain candidate relationships with an ability to understand people and establish individual needs.

This role is initially offered as a six-month fixed-term contract. However, upon successful completion of the probation period, there is the opportunity for an extension or a transition to a permanent position, subject to performance and business needs
