Project Manager (Civil)

Toro Recruitment is seeking an experienced Project Manager on behalf of their client within the renewable energy sector.

The role focuses on delivering engineering management services across a diverse portfolio, including battery energy storage systems (BESS), solar, wind, and green hydrogen projects.

Key Responsibilities of a Project Manager:

  • Leadership and management of a team of civil engineers to deliver safe, high-quality design and engineering solutions.
  • Coordinate preliminary layouts and assessments during the development phase of renewable projects.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, including acting as Principal Designer under CDM regulations.
  • Manage multi-disciplinary design activities and technical specifications during detailed project design.

Skills and Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles and renewable energy technologies.
  • Leadership experience in managing teams and processes effectively.
  • Proficiency in project and design management for complex, multi-disciplinary projects.
  • Familiarity with relevant standards, regulations, and CDM compliance.
  • A degree in engineering or a related discipline (Chartered Engineer status is preferred).
