Key Responsibilities:
- Managing geotechnical projects from inception to completion
- Coordinating site investigations and data collection efforts
- Interpreting and analysing geological and geotechnical data
- Preparing comprehensive technical reports and recommendations
- Liaising with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project success
- Monitoring project progress and performance to meet deadlines and budgets
- Providing expert advice and geotechnical input to cross-sector projects
- Ensuring all activities comply with relevant health and safety regulations
Job Requirements:
- Experience in geotechnical engineering, preferably with previous site investigation contractor experience
- Strong understanding of geotechnical principles and relevant industry standards
- Proficiency in geotechnical data analysis and interpretation
- Excellent project management and organisational skills
- Ability to produce detailed technical reports
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Relevant geology or geotechnical engineering degree or equivalent qualification
- Valid driving licence and willingness to use own vehicle for work purposes
