Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing geotechnical projects from inception to completion
  • Coordinating site investigations and data collection efforts
  • Interpreting and analysing geological and geotechnical data
  • Preparing comprehensive technical reports and recommendations
  • Liaising with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project success
  • Monitoring project progress and performance to meet deadlines and budgets
  • Providing expert advice and geotechnical input to cross-sector projects
  • Ensuring all activities comply with relevant health and safety regulations


Job Requirements:

  • Experience in geotechnical engineering, preferably with previous site investigation contractor experience
  • Strong understanding of geotechnical principles and relevant industry standards
  • Proficiency in geotechnical data analysis and interpretation
  • Excellent project management and organisational skills
  • Ability to produce detailed technical reports
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Relevant geology or geotechnical engineering degree or equivalent qualification
  • Valid driving licence and willingness to use own vehicle for work purposes
