Assistant QS required ASAP for Tier One main contractor on £200m+ new build project in Glasgow
I have an urgent requirement for a Junior / Trainee / Assistant level Quantity Surveyor to work for my client, a Tier One main contractor, on a major £200m+ new build project in Glasgow.
The role will involve working within and assisting the Commercial team with all Surveying functions including procurement, variations, valuations, cost reporting, payments, final accounts etc.
This is a great opportunity to work for a top National and International contractor on a major project and start / develop your career.
You'll ideally have some form of QS / Construction qualification and perhaps one or two years experience, preferably working for a main contractor, though developer and subcontractor background will certainly also be considered for the right candidate.
The cient could also look at someone from a Commercial Administrator / Assistant background who wants to progress into Quantity Surveying.
The role is primarily site-based, with the potential for some hybrid working as appropriate.
The position is available on a freelance, temp-to-perm or permanent basis.
