QUANTITY SURVEYOR - GLASGOW - INITIAL 6-MONTH CONTRACT - 41PH (INSIDE IR35)
ARM is working with a major global infrastructure consultancy, and we are currently recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor based in Glasgow, working on a hybrid basis. You will need NEC contract and nuclear experience to be successful in this position.
About You:
- You should have an appropriate degree and/or are a member (or working towards) of an appropriate professional body (such as MRICS etc).
- You must hold an active Security Clearance for this role due to the nature of work.
- You will have experience with contract management, change control, and common forms of contracts (e.g. NEC).
- It is important that you have nuclear experience as well as a background in pre and post contract management.
What you will be doing:
This position will see you balancing risk, opportunity and financial returns in both pre and post contract management. You will focus on the delivery of excellence and carefully estimate costs whilst also calculating material needs. You'll be responsible for providing construction contract quantity surveying and will prepare data and numerous reports.
This position will be based in Glasgow, with the opportunity to work on a hybrid basis from home twice a week.
What you can expect in return:
This role is initially a 6-month contract with the potential to extend up to 2 years. You'll be working 40 hours per week at a rate of 41.28 per hour.
