Job description

This high profile client in Cumbernauld need regular temp support. These roles are perfect for students who are free 2 - 3 days per week or anyone happy just doing ad hoc work on a long term basis however we do have several full weeks work available there immediately. You will be covering holidays and sickness. . Excellent communication skills and presentation required. We currently have dates available from 30 Sept to 11 October. This is a multi site client and we have other temporary roles with them in Stirling, Glasgow and Edinburgh. We have dates available next week for Glasgow if you can travel there.

Job Profile

Front of house reception role. Based in Cumbernauld, the main part of the role is the greeting of visitors.

Responsibilities:

You will be involved with supporting typical reception duties.

  • The role is front desk reception and is a lone working site (This means the employee cannot leave site between 08:00 - 17:00 but is paid for the time they take their lunch and there is an onsite canteen).
  • The main duties of the role are greeting visitors, printing out registers, assisting visitors, handing out access passes and lunch passes and sending out any outgoing mail.

Experience, skills set and/or qualifications required:

  • Greeting all visitors with an exceptionally positive attitude - a welcoming approach is essential and the most important aspect to these roles
  • Any previous reception experience would be an advantage but any experience in hospitality or retail could transfer well
  • It's all about you! You need to be professional, automatically smile when a visitor arrives and make them feel welcome and interact with excellent communication skills
  • No specific experience is needed - these roles could suit anyone looking to build reception experience but you do need to only want occasional work.

Hours: 8 hours per working day.

Salary: £12 per hour
