I am currently recruiting for a Part Time Receptionist to join my public sector client on a contract until the end of March 2025. You will work 4.5 hours per day working Monday - Friday 8:30am - 1pm. You will be office based in Glasgow city centre. This role will start immediately, so you must have less than 1 weeks notice or be available immediately.

Duties and Responsibilities will include:

  • Warmly welcoming visitors and clients, answering their inquiries, and directing them to the appropriate department or person
  • Managing the phone system by answering, screening, and forwarding calls, as well as taking messages when necessary
  • Scheduling and managing appointments for staff or clients, often using software or appointment calendars
  • Ensuring the front desk and waiting areas are clean, organised and presentable at all times
  • Receive and sort any incoming mail and deliveries
  • Inputting data into databases, maintaining accurate records, and updating contact information
  • Handling basic filing, organising documents, and maintaining client records
