Recruitment Officer

Join our dynamic Human Resources team based in a Top University in Glasgow as a Recruitment Officer. This role is crucial in supporting the full recruitment lifecycle for positions in Glasgow, ensuring a seamless and efficient process under the guidance of the Talent Acquisition Manager. In this role, you will support the recruitment lifecycle for the University campus of Bahrain and related Glasgow roles, guided by the Talent Acquisition Manager and HR team. You will collaborate with stakeholders, plan recruitment campaigns, use job boards and social media, manage candidate lists, address queries, maintain the ATS, schedule interviews, handle offers, and coordinate immigration and relocation. Emphasising candidate experience, you will ensure a smooth and positive process, while fostering teamwork and collaboration throughout. You may also be involved in the development of an employee handbook.

As such, a bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or equivalent is required.

Day-to-Day of the Role

  • End-to-End Recruitment Support: Assist in all stages of the recruitment process from job posting to onboarding, ensuring alignment with the Talent Acquisition Manager and HR team’s strategies
  • Recruitment Marketing: Collaborate with media agencies to execute impactful recruitment campaigns. Utilise global job boards and social media to attract top talent
  • Stakeholder Management: Work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to understand and fulfil staffing requirements effectively
  • Candidate Management: Manage all aspects of candidate interaction, from longlisting and shortlisting to addressing queries and coordinating interviews
  • Offer Process Management: Oversee the offer process, including preparation and issuance of job offers
  • Immigration and Relocation Coordination: Handle the logistics of immigration and relocation for international hires, ensuring compliance with relevant laws

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience in managing the full recruitment lifecycle
  • Strong ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Skilled in recruitment marketing and familiar with various talent acquisition platforms
  • Proficient in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and maintaining accurate candidate records
  • Experience with international recruitment and understanding of related legal and procedural requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of writing contracts and policy documents
