This is a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic and strategic procurement professional to lead a team of specialists, driving sourcing excellence and delivering value across the business. Reporting directly to the Supply Chain Director, you will play a key role in shaping procurement strategy and fostering strong supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of procurement professionals.
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies to drive efficiencies and cost savings.
  • Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality, service, and value.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to align procurement strategies with business objectives.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement function.
Key Requirements:
  • Proven category management experience - ideally within utilities.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams.
  • Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Strategic mindset with a results-driven approach.
  • CIPS qualification (or working towards) would be advantageous.
