My public client are currently seeking a qualified surveyor to join their Asset Management Team to provide professional and technical services in the management of their extensive investment portfolio.Key responsibilities will include:

  • Using specialist professional knowledge and experience of commercial buildings and construction to manage the investment portfolio.
  • Working closely with the Projects Team Manager to identify further investment opportunities.
  • Managing a Technical team, identifying development needs and providing support on professional and technical matters.
  • Managing and undertaking stock condition surveys, producing a planned preventative maintenance programme.
  • Supporting the delivery of energy and sustainability initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with Statutory requirements such as CDM, HASWA, DDA, Asbestos and Legionella
  • Responsible for ensuring Health & Safety and risk management procedures are adhered to.

Qualifications & Experience Required

  • Chartered Surveyor (MRICS)
  • Experience in managing professional services e.g. dilapidations, landlord consents, condition & preacquisition surveys
  • Experience working on a diverse portfolio of non-domestic asset
  • Experience managing planned preventative maintenance programmes
  • Management of budgets
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
