Glenelly Infrastructure Solutions are looking for a Commercial Manager, to join our team and contribute to the growth and management of the financial aspects of our business operations. This role will be based in our Glenrothes office, and work closely with our finance and administration teams and senior management working on an existing framework we are delivering for Scottish Power Energy Networks.

We are looking for a candidate with demontstrable commercial manager experience and knowledge. We would also consider a candidate who has a background and experience as a commercial administrator, or quantity surveyor looking to make a step up in their career to a Commercial Manager position. Your experience in previous roles should include the following -

- Developing and implementing cost control measures to ensure efficient use of resources

- Analyzing financial data and providing recommendations for improving profitability

- Monitoring and managing budgets, expenses, and financial performance

- Negotiating contracts with suppliers and clients to secure favorable terms

- Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, clients, and regulatory authorities

- Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to commercial activities

Any experience working on projects in construction, electrical generation, utilites or infrastructure would be of specific interest. Ideally your CV should demonstrate the following Commercial Manager skills and experience:

- Strong financial acumen and understanding of cost control principles

- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data

- Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis

- Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable contracts and agreements

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with stakeholders

- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions based on financial analysis - Proficiency in using financial software and tools
