Marketing Manager
£45,320
12 Month Fixed Term Contract.
37.50 Hours with core hours rom 9.30am to 3.30pm
Hybrid available after 6 months - 2 to 3 days in the office
Glossop Area - Free car parking on site
This is a great opportunity to join a leading organisation within the wholesale industry who started as a family run organisation and have grown and continued to grow ever since.
In this role, youll lead team engagement, manage brand communications, and drive meaningful business campaigns. From content creation to budget management, youll play a key part in boosting consumer engagement and ensuring brand consistency across platforms.
This role will require strong leadership qualities in order to effectively people manage the team but also to manage upwards when working with senior leadership. You will need to be able to work creatively and be resilient in your mindset in order to achieve goals and outcomes.
If you have worked within or have an understanding of the textile industry and come from a retail background that will be advantageous to this position.
The role is 12 month fixed term but could lead to permanent however this is not guaranteed, so please consider this when applying.
Your main duties will involve:
- Engage and manage the marketing team on a daily basis.
- Create and deliver brand, sub-brand, and product communications and content aligned with strategic priorities.
- Ensure adherence to brand positioning and strategy across all content and platforms.
- Manage trademark registrations.
- Develop content that highlights consumer needs, unique selling propositions, calls to action, and value drivers.
- Build and track the annual marketing budget.
- Plan and execute B2C marketing activities and campaigns, establishing KPIs and tracking ROI.
- Conduct consumer insight and profiling.
- Plan and manage B2C communications and social platforms.
- Develop and deliver B2B brochures, POS, and trade materials.
- Organize and manage B2B UK and international events.
- Handle B2B and industry PR, community relations, and enhance company profile.
The right person will demonstrate:
- Proven experience in team and people management, with strong leadership attributes.
- Experience in start-up brand development.
- Contributor to brand strategy development.
- Confident communicator with strong analytical skills.
- Highly organised and deadline-focused.
- Experience in agency negotiation and management.
- Proficient in design/image studio program management.
- Experience in fast-paced, dynamic business environments.
- Experience with European brand expansion.
