On behalf of our client school, Tradewind are seeking a hard-working and committed PPA cover teacher to be a welcome addition at a lovely school in the heart of Glossop. The school are seeking a flexible teacher with direct primary experience to be able to teach across the school covering PPA sessions.

The school is a beautiful, single form entry school which is led by a passionate Head who places children at the forefront of all decisions. Respected by all, the Head is supported by a strong SLT and team of staff working towards shared goals and encourages a positive work-life balance amongst all those in her care.

Role: PPA Cover Teacher

As the PPA cover teacher, you will have the opportunity to gain consistent work on a regular basis covering various classes across the school. All work will be planned but the ability to adpapt your teaching style to meet the needs of children of different ages will be crucial to your success.

We are looking for:

  • A teacher with direct experience in EYFS, KS1 and KS2
  • An enthusiastic teacher who brings energy and happiness into classroom teaching and learning
  • A nurturing teacher who will build strong relationships with the children and staff based on trust and mutual respect
  • A great team player who will communicate well with other classroom support staff
  • A good listener, great communicator and someone who is organised and able to keep up with the change of pace from class to class delivering ranging curriculum content.

All applicants must have QTS and teaching experience in the primary setting. In addition, you will be subject to an enhanced DBS check and will need to provide 2 references that demonstrate your excellence in the primary classroom.
