Responsibilities of the Financial Accountant
As a Financial Accountant, you will play a crucial role in preparing and analysing financial reports, ensuring compliance with accounting policies, and participating in budgeting processes. You will also be responsible for tax planning and compliance, conducting internal audits, and assisting in the development of internal control policies. Your ability to analyse financial data will be key in preparing reports that aid management decision making.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements
- Participate in budgeting processes and financial forecasting
- Perform tax planning and compliance
- Conduct internal audits and liaise with external auditors
- Assist in the development of internal control policies
- Analyse financial data and prepare reports for management decision making
