About the Role

We’re looking for a highly organised Administrative Assistant to support the daily operations of a busy engineering company. This is a varied role that requires excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Key Responsibilities
  • Handling incoming calls and emails, directing enquiries to the right team members.
  • Managing office documentation, including filing, data entry, and updating records.
  • Assisting with scheduling, arranging meetings, and coordinating diaries.
  • Processing orders, invoices, and supplier paperwork.
  • Supporting site teams with admin tasks such as job sheets and documentation.
  • Liaising with customers, suppliers, and contractors to ensure smooth operations.
  • Monitoring stock levels for office and site supplies, ordering when necessary.
  • Preparing reports and basic spreadsheets when required.
  • Ensuring the office remains well-organised and efficient.
What We’re Looking For
  • Previous experience in an administrative role (ideally within construction, engineering, or a similar industry).
  • Strong organisational skills with great attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
