The Role
In summary, reporting to the Project Manager, you will be working on producing concept and manufacturing drawings for Packaged Utility Rooms. You will closely work with the surrounding pre-construction, pre-production, and production teams to deliver a high-quality product.
- Produce manufacturing and concept designs for Packaged Utility rooms, usually incorporating the standard design concept and a high-level list of components that need incorporating within the PUR.
- Create and check general arrangement and detailed part drawings.
- Generate and maintain the bill of materials on the internal systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve design issues.
Principal Skills & Attributes
- Good knowledge of Solidworks CAD software.
- Previous experience with Revit beneficial
- A minimum of 1-2 years previous experience in Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DFMA).
- Good knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM).
- Some Mechanical and Electrical knowledge advantageous.
- 2:1 Engineering Degree advantageous.
- A high level of integrity, professionalism, and ethical standards.
