Accounts Administrator

Brand new permanent opportunity to join our client who are a very well know brand within Gloucestershire. They are a well-established and successful local family run business based in Central Gloucester, due to continued growth they are currently recruiting for an Accounts Administrator to join the team.

This role will be a mix of general admin to support he team, as well as finance support. Full training on the role and processes will be provided.

Duties:

- Setting up new customer agreements, setting up direct debits for customers.

- Credit checks, reconciliations, posting and arranging payments. Contac customers regarding outstanding payments when necessary.

- Sales Ledger - ad hoc cover for the Credit Controller where applicable.

- Purchase Ledger - Input purchase invoices to system, matching goods into invoices, price checking, query resolution and dealing with product returns and claims, input banking.

- Tills cover - this involves reconciling the showroom tills to the database totals to ensure all sales in the showroom have been recorded correctly.

- Assist with ad hoc projects and administration where applicable.

To apply for this role some previous accounts experience would be highly advantageous. You will need to be competent with Microsoft Word and Excel and have good communication skills.

Hours: Monday - Friday - 8.30am - 5.30pm however, our client can be very flexible with working hours (there may be the opportunity for hybrid working after completion of a successful probation training/settling in period).

Salary: £25,000 - £26,000 per annum depending on experience.
