JWR is excited to partner with a prestigious hotel in Cheltenham, seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager. In this role, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day maintenance of the hotel, ensuring statutory compliance while identifying opportunities for larger-scale projects. You will also oversee smaller in-house projects as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of hotel maintenance and ensure compliance with health, safety, and fire regulations.
  • Identify and recommend large-scale project work, alongside managing smaller in-house projects.
  • Lead a small team, helping them develop their skills and knowledge.
Essential Skills:
  • In-depth practical knowledge of hotel maintenance, health & safety, and fire regulations.
  • Experience in a similar role within the UK hotel industry.
  • Ideally hold trade qualifications or technical skills.
  • Strong administrative abilities, including health & safety and risk assessment record-keeping.
  • Commercially aware, with a solid understanding of budget management.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule, including call outs (40 hours/week, 5 out of 7 days).
  • Proficiency in IT, with good numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Highly organised and hands-on, capable of working effectively in a team.
