Our Client is seeking a Service Transition Manager on an initial 5-month contract with the possibility of an extension.

Start Date: ASAP - 3 Month Contract

Pay Rate: 517.48 Per Day PAYE (Umbrella also available)

Location: GL1 2TG

Working Hours: 37 Hours Per Week, Mon - Fri, 09:00 - 17:00

Job Purpose:

We are seeking an experienced Service Transition Manager to lead the client-side transition from the One SAP implementation programme to a successful operational support model. This role requires collaboration across all workstreams, partners, and business-as-usual operations to effectively engage with a broad range of stakeholders. The successful candidate will develop and deliver a comprehensive client-side transition approach for the programme.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Led the transition from the One SAP implementation programme to an operational support model, ensuring seamless integration into business-as-usual operations.
  • Collaborate with technical and programme management professionals, partners, and various workstreams to ensure alignment and effective communication throughout the transition process.
  • Develop a comprehensive transition approach, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Oversee the execution of the transition plan, ensuring adherence to established timelines and quality standards.
  • Define service requirements, including SLAs, hours of operation, and non-functional requirements.
  • Perform gap analysis between standard support models and programme requirements, and create service design and transition documentation to reflect end-to-end service solutions.
  • Drive continuous process efficiencies and improvements across the team, delivering maximum value for the organization.
  • Coordinate training sessions and provide ongoing support to end-users to facilitate a successful transition to the new operational support model.
