Business Development Manager

Up to £40,000 DOE with a Fantastic commission package and company car!

Delighted to be supporting and representing my client who are recognised as the leading international provider of advanced Telecommunications solutions for mission and business critical networks.

I am lookingfor a highly motivated Business Development Manager to join the existing Sales Team within a fast-paced environment. This person will form an important and integral part of an expanding business and at an exciting time within the company’s history.

Role Responsibilities

• Identify and quantify business sectors for broadband, utilities, government/defence along with direct and indirect sell including system integrators.
• Search potential market areas for telecom opportunities.
• Attend industry events & conferences to network & promote products & the business.
• Build relationships & stay up to date with new products and technologies.
• Creating sales forecasts & actively work towards reaching them and presenting sales information to the Senior Management Team.
• Active participation in completion of Tender applications received into the business.
• Deliver in person & online Sales presentations with prospective & existing customers.
• Work alongside our engineering team to find resolutions and solutions for all new and existing customers.

Requirements

• Proven experience of working in the Telecoms sector would be desirable.
• Strong sales and business development skillset and experience
• Excellent time management skills & the ability to multitask.
• Solid IT skills & knowledge of necessary software including MSWord, Excel, PowerPoint & statistical analysis software.
• Management/Bachelor degree in Marketing, Accounting, Finance, Business management would be advantageous
