You will have an emphasis on a commercial return and providing a cost effective, professional development management service to the council whilst achieving best value on all property transactions.
- Management of a range of development projects providing advice on promotion opportunities, new acquisitions and disposals to support the development programme.
- Assist the process of appointing consultants working with the procurement team to progress and implement property development proposals.
- Negotiate commercial terms relating to new disposals, acquisitions and other development related agreements.
- Manage and influence stakeholders including community groups with the progression of projects.
You will join a property & development team responsible for managing corporate and investment assets. You will provide a high level of technical expertise within this team, playing a key role in ensuring that the service is well organised and delivered effectively.What You Need to Succeed
- Hold a degree in estate management (or equivalent), alongside a professional membership of RICS (or equivalent).
- Hold post-qualification experience working within a commercial organisation or a local authority.
- Knowledge of the various methods of marketing, disposal, and acquisition of land and buildings.
