Our client is seeking a Senior Electrical and Electronics Engineer to join them. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in circuit design and a keen interest in leveraging current technology to enhance product designs. This role is integral to developing new products and supporting ongoing production within a dynamic team.
Day to Day of the role:- Design and improve circuits for downhole use, pushing the boundaries of designs to higher temperatures (185°+).
- Develop and maintain production equipment, as well as various stages of assemblies.
- Conduct system evaluations, making appropriate recommendations to modify designs or repair equipment as needed.
- Define and execute testing and maintenance procedures for electronics and components.
- Ensure all documentation and management systems are maintained to comply with ISO accreditation goals.
- Collaborate closely with a small team, contributing to continuous improvements and maintaining high health and safety standards.
- Manage your own time effectively to ensure the timely completion of projects.
- Work within an Electrostatic Protected Area (EPA) and be willing to travel as required.
- Strong understanding of PCB design software.
- Experience with electronics in harsh environments is preferable.
- B.S. or advanced degree in Engineering/Scientific discipline.
- Proficient in IPC standards and board manufacturing processes.
- Must hold a valid driving licence.
