Job Purpose
- Deliver a high standard of service to a variety of tax clients.
- Manage the tax compliance process, working directly with clients to handle queries and ensure HMRC deadlines are met.
- Provide sound tax advisory, delivering technical information in an easy-to-understand way for non-financial stakeholders.
- Review tax calculations and support tax planning.
- Support the firm’s strategic direction by scoping new business opportunities.
- Liaise with clients as their go-to advisor, building trusted and long-lasting relationships.
- Review efficiencies and recommend new processes to improve workflow and ROI.
- Review the work of junior team members, providing supportive mentorship.
- Set an example to the tax team as a proactive and hands-on Manager.

The Successful Applicant
- ACA, ACCA, or CTA qualified with several years’ tax experience within practice.
- Previous supervisory experience, with good people management skills.
- Able to build a strong rapport with clients, being their go-to advisor.
- Excellent IT skills and knowledge.
- Strong leadership skills with a natural ability to inspire those around you.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Strong attention to detail and sound organisation skills.
