It will suit an ambitious, driven and experienced area/multi-site chef from a high volume fast paced branded high street background.
The company is expanding and you will play a key role in adding value and shaping the offer.
Role - Area Chef
- Oversee, support, coach and lead the head chefs and kitchen teams
- Recruit and train new and existing chefs into the business
- Open new kitchens from scratch
- Implement company systems, procedures and policies
- Oversee stock results across the company
- Ensure GP's, costs and labour budgets are in line
- Work in a hands-on capacity
- Maintain high standards of presentation and food quality
- Work closely with and establish relationships with the FOH teams
Attributes - Area Chef
- Experience as an area/multi-site chef in high volume high street branded restaurants
- New opening experience is essential
- Strong financial & commercial acumen - controlling GP's, labour, costs & budgets
- Excellent people, leadership, organisation, administration, communication and people management skills
- A hands-on lead from the front approach and a very keen eye for detail
- An intrinsic understanding of legislation & compliance
- Strong coaching, performance management and people development skills
- A positive and outgoing personality and outlook
- IT literate - working with systems & process
