You are a client facing technical security professional, with substantial experience within security and can deliver complex technical solutions to projects, whilst developing and maintaining client relationships. You will have a broad range of expertise across Information Security and be able to articulate and deliver different i3Secure propositions to our target markets.

What you'll be doing

This role sits within our Technical Cyber Security Consulting team, meaning you'll get to work on a variety of projects including those with Defence clients, therefore a minimum clearance level of SC is required. As we are a boutique cyber and IA company, consultants will need to be prepared to deliver to wider public and private sector clients where required. At the Technical Consultant level, you will be working with clients to deliver a range of Cyber Security projects from the whole systems engineering lifecycle. You could be supporting the design of their system to ensure it is secure, developing test cases with engineers or even supporting the rollout of their of a solution. The role offers a large amount of variety and will depend on the client's needs.

As part of this, you will learn how to assess their organisation against relevant frameworks, regulation and standards such as NIST regulations, the Cyber Assurance Framework (CAF), Cyber Essentials (CE) and Secure by Design (SbD).

You will also be required to stay on top of the latest developments within the Cyber Security & Information Assurance industry by attending training and conferences which will be supported by the company.

In addition, you will also be working with the leadership and sales team to respond to tenders and provide pre-sales support.

You'll have experience of:

• Possess 2+ year experience delivering to a client (preferably public sector)
• Hands on technical knowledges (e.g. Windows Server, Linux, SQL)
• Knowledge of public and/or private cloud preferable
• Security assurance, working with JSP440, JSP604/453
• Security accreditation
• Secure by Design (SbD)
• Good knowledge of IT systems covering traditional infrastructure, cloud platforms and SaaS
• Working with various technical teams

Qualifications We Look For:

• Security / engineering qualification (e.g. CompTIA Security+)
• CISSP
• Be in possession of a technical degree (or equivalent qualification / experience)
