Job Title: Junior IT Support Engineer

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Location: Gloucester (4 days a week on site)

Our client is looking for a Junior IT Support Engineer to help keep their business running smoothly by providing first-line support across their IT systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the first point of contact for IT support requests.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues with Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and networking.
  • Manage hardware provisioning and maintain IT equipment.
  • Create and update user documentation.
  • Travel to various sites when required (pool vehicle provided).
  • Escalate issues to third-party providers when necessary.

Essential Skills:

  • Eager to learn and develop new IT skills.
  • Organised, motivated, and able to work independently.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail.
  • Patient and approachable when working with users of varying technical abilities.
  • Full UK driving licence.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with help desk applications.
  • Knowledge of M365 administration, Windows & Mobile OS troubleshooting.
  • Basic networking and cloud services knowledge.
  • IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+).
