Commercial Account Handler
About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated Commercial Account Handler to join our client’s expanding team. In this role, you’ll support Account Executives to drive growth through new and existing client relationships, delivering high-quality, reliable service every step of the way.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation and databases to ensure compliance
- Follow established procedures for scheme management
- Provide support to Account Executives and address client and insurer inquiries
- Oversee claims management, working with all parties to achieve the best outcomes for clients
- Develop expertise in a wide range of commercial insurance products and employee benefits
- Build and maintain strong relationships with insurers
- Leverage in-depth market knowledge to present effective client solutions
- Prepare and present client proposals to market
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, participating in meetings and training as required
- Advise clients on their insurance needs, ensuring all recommendations meet their demands
- Take full responsibility for managing client accounts to deliver outstanding customer service

Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven insurance experience with a focus on customer service
- Cert CII qualification is a plus
- Proficient in IT, ideally with experience in SSP
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Demonstrates initiative, problem-solving skills, reliability, and accountability
