Commercial Account Handler

About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated Commercial Account Handler to join our client’s expanding team. In this role, you’ll support Account Executives to drive growth through new and existing client relationships, delivering high-quality, reliable service every step of the way.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation and databases to ensure compliance
  • Follow established procedures for scheme management
  • Provide support to Account Executives and address client and insurer inquiries
  • Oversee claims management, working with all parties to achieve the best outcomes for clients
  • Develop expertise in a wide range of commercial insurance products and employee benefits
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with insurers
  • Leverage in-depth market knowledge to present effective client solutions
  • Prepare and present client proposals to market
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, participating in meetings and training as required
  • Advise clients on their insurance needs, ensuring all recommendations meet their demands
  • Take full responsibility for managing client accounts to deliver outstanding customer service

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proven insurance experience with a focus on customer service
  • Cert CII qualification is a plus
  • Proficient in IT, ideally with experience in SSP
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Demonstrates initiative, problem-solving skills, reliability, and accountability
