Red Snapper Recruitment are recruiting for a full-time Data Analyst working 35 hours a week based out of either Gloucestershire, Bristol or Swindon. You will be asked to visit multiple sites during your employ. We are open to hybrid working opportunities, working 2 days a week from home.The salary is up to £25,000 per annum and this is a temporary contract until January 2026Main duties and responsibilities

  • Attend all relevant meetings as and when directed or identified, including Senior Leads, and chairing the Data Quality meeting and the Admin Meeting.
  • To participate in the overall development of Nelson Trust services.
  • To be responsible for own safety and others affected by your activities and to ensure adherence to the Nelson Trust policies and procedures regarding Health & Safety.
  • To be aware of and work within Nelson Trust policies and procedures particularly those relating to Safeguarding, Data Protection; Confidentiality and Staff Code of Ethics.
  • Develop effective communications with staff teams to ensure an optimum service delivery is achieved.
  • To be aware of and work to Nelson Trust safeguarding principles, practice, and procedures.
  • Perform any other duties as may be reasonably expected from you as directed by line management.
  • To attend training and development sessions as relevant and as provided.
  • Develop own practice by maintaining and improving knowledge of relevant work practices.
  • To work across various Nelson Trust locations when required.

Person Specification

  • Understanding of data management and data protection practices.
  • Knowledge of the protected characteristics of the Equality Act 2010.
  • Experience of processing and communicating complex information clearly.
  • Good working knowledge of software packages (Excel, Microsoft 365, Word, Power BI, etc.)
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience of preparing data reports for external funders.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to manage workload under minimal supervision.
  • Ability to problem solve and work collaboratively.
  • A commitment to the principles and practice of safeguarding adults and children at risk of harm
  • Commitment to undertake learning opportunities and continuing professional development including new software packages such as Power BI, Crystal Reports, etc.
