Are you an experienced Maintenance Engineer with knowledge of working within food production maintenance?

GMP Recruitment are proud to be partnered with a Gloucester based, food service and food manufacture provider. We are currently supporting their recruitment for a Nightshift Maintenance Engineer to be responsible for proactively supporting the site functions which will include maintaining and repairing all site machinery and site services to include the improvement of equipment reliability and planned preventative maintenance.

This position is working Monday - Friday 22:00pm - 06:00am

This position offers an annual salary of 拢50,000 including excellent company benefits.

Experience of working in a fast-moving manufacturing environment within food production is essential.

Nightshift Maintenance Engineer main duties:

路 Develop and maintain an integrated Production operation to agreed health, safety and quality engineering and technical standards.

路 Optimise line performance to meet and exceed Key Performance Indicators in the areas of equipment reliability and efficiency.

路 Carry out planned maintenance activities and suggests ways to improve them based on observations and history and makes them happen.

路 Routinely analyse line performance data and takes appropriate action to improve performance.

路 Participate and lead continuous improvement and problem-solving activities to improve performance.

路 Develop systems to ensure correct operation of equipment and facilities and improves methods to manage processes (from changeovers to reaction plans).

路 Own part of the reliability programme to improve the performance of allocated machines.

路 Ensure appropriate information is captured on plant performance, maintenance activities to drive a predictive approach to tasks and to prevent equipment failures

Nightshift Maintenance Engineer required skills and experience:

路 Experience of working in a fast-moving manufacturing environment. Food production experience is essential.

路 Must be qualified to HNC or City and Guilds Part 3 skilled discipline, time served apprenticeship.

路 IOSH Health and Safety would be advantageous but must demonstrate sound health and safety knowledge.

路 Able to demonstrate world class manufacturing techniques would be desirable (e.g. Lean, TPM/RCA).

路 Able to demonstrate a track record of working as part of a team.

路 Able to use their own initiative and challenge current practices.

路 Able to drive continuous improvement and promote a culture of continuous improvement throughout the business.
