Quality Engineer

Our client is seeking a dedicated Quality Engineer to join their QHSE team based in Quedgeley, Gloucestershire. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about creating a safe and compliant work environment and is eager to contribute positively to the company’s ESG initiatives.

Day to Day of the role:
  • Ensure full compliance with all health and safety standards, identifying potential risks and implementing preventative measures.
  • Maintain and improve the Quality Management System by adhering to relevant procedures and work instructions.
  • Actively participate in ESG initiatives, complete assigned training, and understand how to contribute within your role to our company’s sustainability goals.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure continuous adherence to health, safety, and quality regulations.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on quality and safety best practices.
  • Collaborate with various departments to integrate quality, health, safety, and environmental considerations into daily operations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in a similar role focusing on quality, health, and safety.
  • Strong understanding of Quality Management Systems and ESG principles.
  • Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations and standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead and conduct training sessions on health and safety practices.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest industry developments.
