The RoleTSR Legal are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Corporate & Commercial Paralegal / Legal Assistant to join their thriving team. This is an exciting opportunity to support a group of experienced legal professionals and contribute to a broad range of corporate and commercial legal matters. Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with the preparation, review, and management of legal documents, including acquisition and disposal agreements, shareholder agreements, and commercial contracts.
- Providing administrative support to the Corporate & Commercial team, including file management, document drafting, and correspondence.
- Supporting the team with company secretarial duties, such as preparing board minutes, maintaining statutory books, and filing documents with Companies House.
- Conducting legal research to support client matters and internal projects.
- Assisting with transactional work, including due diligence, disclosure, and the preparation of completion deliverables.
- Liaising with clients, external counsel, and other stakeholders to ensure the smooth progression of matters.
About YouTo succeed in this role, you will:
- Have prior experience in a legal assistant or paralegal role, preferably within a corporate or commercial law team.
- Possess strong organisational skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Be confident managing multiple tasks and prioritising workloads effectively.
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Demonstrate a proactive and adaptable approach to problem-solving.
- Be IT proficient, with experience using legal practice management software and Microsoft Office.
- Ideally hold a legal qualification, such as a law degree or CILEx certificate (desirable but not essential).
