An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and creative marketing professional to lead a dynamic and forward-thinking Marketing team within a leading provider of further and higher education. As Senior Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the organisation's brand and driving strategic marketing activity across B2C and B2B audiences.
This role is ideal for someone with a passion for education and a drive to lead innovative marketing strategies that increase visibility, support student recruitment, and engage key stakeholders, including prospective students, employers, and the wider community.
What will the role involve?
- Lead the development and execution of annual B2C and B2B marketing strategies, underpinned by relevant market research.
- Manage and evolve promotional activities, media relations, publications, and social media to enhance brand awareness, engagement, and reputation.
- Oversee the delivery of creative and effective campaigns that support organisational growth and student recruitment.
- Lead, develop, and inspire a skilled marketing team, fostering innovation and high performance.
- Collaborate with academic and operational departments to ensure cohesive, well-aligned marketing activity across the organisation's diverse portfolio.
- Provide regular reporting on campaign performance and progress towards strategic goals.
- Manage open events and support lead generation across campuses and target audiences.
- Ensure content and marketing initiatives support segmented customer value propositions aligned to the organisation's four business pillars.
What will you ideally bring to the role?
- Degree in a relevant field or significant professional experience in marketing.
- Demonstrable experience in creating and delivering successful marketing strategies.
- Proven track record in delivering integrated marketing campaigns and meeting ambitious targets.
- Experience managing a marketing team.
- A professional marketing qualification (Level 4 or above).
- Management qualification.
