Position: Maintenance Engineer (Day Shift)
Location: Gloucester
Job Type: Permanent / Onsite
Our client, a global leading manufacturing business are on the hunt for a Maintenance Engineer to join the team!
Role and Responsibilities –
In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical issues within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This will ensure production assts operate efficiently, safely and to the right quality standards to maximise uptime and output productivity.
Other responsibilities include:
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical faults on production machines, PLCs and control panels ensuring downtime is minimal
- Read and interpret technical diagrams, schematics and machine manuals to repair and improve equipment functionality
- Ensuring compliance with Health and Safety, Environmental standards whilst maintaining accurate maintenance records
- Perform routine maintenance activities on all aspects of production equipment with a focus on electrical and mechanical standards
Experience or Qualifications –
- Electro / Mechanical Engineering Qualification – Minimum NVQ Level3, City and Guilds or equivalent
- Proven experience as a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer with electrical bias
- Competent in both electrical and mechanical maintenance and repairs
- Strong electrical fault-finding skills with PLC knowledge (desirable)

Candidates who currently are a Maintenance Engineer, Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer or Maintenance Technician may be suitable for this position.
