Red Recruitment is recruiting an Operations Director in Gloucestershire to join our client, who manages distributed rooftop solar PV asset portfolios, across the UK. They currently manage over 18,000 installations.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced individual looking to join a fast-growing business.
The salary is £80,000 per annum with an OTE of £25,000.

- Hours: Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm

Key Responsibilities of an Operations Director:
- Taking ultimate responsibility for the operations and technical functions
- Directing, overseeing and supporting the Head of Operations and Head of Technical to ensure they are motivated and trained to carry out their responsibilities
- Developing and controlling operational budgets to promote profitability, ensuring the company has the resources required
- Representing and managing operations from a strategic, resourcing and financial perspective
- Developing and implementing systems, policies and procedures
- Acting as the company's main advisor on all operational matters and keeping abreast the latest developments
Key Skills and Experience of an Operations Director:
- You should have a relevant degree or experience and qualifications
- You will also need to have the ability to shape operational processes, decisions and systems
- Strong leadership skills are required as you will be leading and managing a diverse team
- Some knowledge of current trends and advancements in Solar PV technology is preferred
- Knowledge of diverse business functions and principles is required
