Our client, a world leader in aircraft landing and braking systems, is currently seeking a Senior Analysis Engineer to join their team involved in innovative designs and technologies for the Defence & Security, Automotive, and Aerospace sectors.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Working competently with FE tools such as ABAQUS
  • Conducting classical static stress and fatigue analysis
  • Interfacing with various business departments, including Chief Engineers, Programmes, Test Engineering, and Manufacturing
  • Participating in audit reviews and presenting information as required
  • Participating in product validation
  • Liaising with external suppliers, customers, airframers, regulatory bodies, and other industrial organisations
  • Identifying analysis solutions, recommending improvements, or suggesting alternative methods
  • Reviewing drawings, designs, concessions, and repairs
  • Communicating professionally and effectively with both internal and external customers and suppliers
  • Complying with industry standards, regulations, and qualification requirements


Job Requirements:

  • Experience in structural design and analysis
  • Proficiency in using recognised FEA and fatigue software tools
  • Understanding of aerospace design and manufacturing processes
  • Experience in static and fatigue structural analysis methods
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Experience working with aerospace materials and engineering properties
  • Familiarity with working to regulatory requirements
  • Ability to work in an IPT (Integrated Product Team) environment
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Organisational skills and ability to work to strict deadlines
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
