Our client, a world leader in aircraft landing and braking systems, is currently seeking a Senior Analysis Engineer to join their team involved in innovative designs and technologies for the Defence & Security, Automotive, and Aerospace sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working competently with FE tools such as ABAQUS
- Conducting classical static stress and fatigue analysis
- Interfacing with various business departments, including Chief Engineers, Programmes, Test Engineering, and Manufacturing
- Participating in audit reviews and presenting information as required
- Participating in product validation
- Liaising with external suppliers, customers, airframers, regulatory bodies, and other industrial organisations
- Identifying analysis solutions, recommending improvements, or suggesting alternative methods
- Reviewing drawings, designs, concessions, and repairs
- Communicating professionally and effectively with both internal and external customers and suppliers
- Complying with industry standards, regulations, and qualification requirements
Job Requirements:
- Experience in structural design and analysis
- Proficiency in using recognised FEA and fatigue software tools
- Understanding of aerospace design and manufacturing processes
- Experience in static and fatigue structural analysis methods
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Experience working with aerospace materials and engineering properties
- Familiarity with working to regulatory requirements
- Ability to work in an IPT (Integrated Product Team) environment
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Organisational skills and ability to work to strict deadlines
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
