As a leading insurance firm, they take pride in their integrity, transparency, and commitment to their clients. They are in search of a dynamic and experienced Head of Compliance Monitoring to join their team and ensure that operations remain consistently compliant with all relevant laws and regulations.Your new role

  • Lead and manage the Compliance Monitoring team to ensure effective oversight of all compliance activities.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive compliance monitoring programs.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify potential compliance risks and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on compliance matters to senior management and staff.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports on compliance activities and findings to the Board of Directors.
  • Stay up-to-date with regulatory changes and industry best practices to ensure the firm's compliance framework remains robust and effective.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience of working in Policy Advisory/Monitoring/Remediation/Assurance across different aspects of financial services/financial markets.
  • Strong knowledge of FCA requirements specifically relating to health, benefits and life products, within both ICOBs and COBs.
  • Good knowledge of FCA requirements in relation to investment, pension and mortgage products.
  • Strong experience of developing monitoring frameworks
  • Leading a compliance team
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance best practices
