About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Purchasing Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for processing orders for distribution, ensuring timely and accurate placement of orders with suppliers, and maintaining effective communication with various departments including sales, production, and stores.
Key Responsibilities:
- Order Processing: Manage orders received via CRM and place them with suppliers.
- Project Coordination: Collaborate with sales, production, and stores on standard projects.
- Daily Ordering: Ensure components are ordered daily to meet requirements.
- Order Management: Place, chase, and ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Purchase Orders: Raise purchase orders (POs) and negotiate terms with suppliers.
Skills and Qualifications:
- MS Office Proficiency: Strong skills in Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs (training available).
- Supplier Communication: Ability to effectively communicate and push back with suppliers when necessary.
- Administrative Experience: Previous experience in an administrative role.
- ERP Experience: Experience with ERP systems is a plus.
