My client, a well established construction consultancy based in Gloucestershire and seeking a Quantity Surveyor/Senior Quantity Surveyor to become an integral part of their team. The company complete works across a range of sectors and projects but this role will have a big focus on projects in the high end residential sector.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Manage all aspects of the cost management function, including cost planning, estimating, budgeting, cost control, and value engineering.
Oversee the preparation of tender documentation, including bills of quantities, specifications, and contract conditions.
Review tender submissions and make recommendations on contractor selection.
Manage the procurement process, including the preparation of contract documentation and the administration of contracts.
Provide cost advice and guidance to clients and project teams.
Monitor and report on project cost performance, highlighting any variances or potential risks.
Manage the resolution of contractual claims and disputes.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
Chartered status with RICS
Minimum of 5years' experience in quantity surveying, with a strong focus on cost management.
Experience working on luxury residential projects
Excellent knowledge of construction contracts, procurement, and cost planning.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
