Quantity Surveyor

Fawkes & Reece South are working with a growing contractor that works on civil engineering and infrastructure projects on behalf of private clients throughout the Southwest of England. Their projects are worth between 5m to 15m based on both JCT & NEC contracts.

They are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join a busy team to work with a Senior Quantity Surveyor on various commercial duties that will include:

• Prepared cost estimates and assessed financial implications of design revisions
• Managed subcontractor relationships, including procurement, rate agreements, and invoice verification
• Conducting site visits to evaluate and validate monthly valuations, ensuring accuracy and adherence to contractual agreements
• Generated detailed cost value reconciliation (CVR) reports to support financial decision-making

Requirements including certificates and qualifications:

Degree-qualified or equivalent in a civil engineering subject

Experience working on any civil engineering or infrastructure related projects

Candidates must be able to prove their eligibility to work in the UK
