Hays Education are recruiting for a vibrant co-edsecondary school based in Gloucester, who are looking for a passionateTeacher of English for KS3 - KS4. This role is a long-term temporary position,on a full or part-time basis.

Your new role

  • Planning, preparingand delivering engaging and effective lessons that meet the needs and abilitiesof all learners.
  • Assessing, recordingand reporting on the progress and attainment of students
  • Providing feedbackand guidance to students to help them improve their skills and confidence
  • Contributing to thedevelopment of the English curriculum and departmental policies
  • Collaborating withother teachers and staff to share best practices and support the school'svision and ethos
  • Participating inprofessional development activities and meetings

What you'll need to succeed

  • A relevant degreeand a qualified teacher status (QTS)
  • Experience ofteaching English at KS3 and KS4 level
  • A passion for theEnglish language and literature and a desire to inspire students
  • Excellentcommunication, organisation and interpersonal skills
  • A willingness tocontribute to the extracurricular activities of the school
