Our Client, Gloucestershire County Council, is seeking a Children’s Social Worker to join their Children & Families Team as an Advanced Practitioner.

Responsibilities of this role:
- We are looking for an experienced Social Worker to join our Children and Families Team in Cheltenham as an Advanced Practitioner.
- The ideal candidate will have experience of supporting or mentoring newly qualified SWs and students as well as acting as the lead in the team on providing training and supporting dissemination of improvements to practice.
- Alongside this, there will be some case holding of more complex cases.
- We are operating to a hybrid way of working. All staff work in the office to complete visits and to provide a duty service and at home to complete administrative tasks.
Requirements of this role:
- Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
- Must have a Social Work qualification (Diploma in social work, social work degree or equivalent)
- Must have minimum of 2 years experience working as a Qualified social worker in a similar team
