This full-time Lead Counsellor role offers a competitive annual salary of £40,000 - £43,000. The role is hybrid, allowing for a balance of remote and on-site work. Our client is dedicated to delivering a range of workplace wellbeing and counselling services to employees of various organisations across the UK. Their services include a 24/7 helpline, structured counselling, critical incident response, and mental health training.

As the Lead Counsellor your responsibilities include:

  • Providing clinical direction for the Telephone Counselling and Associate Counsellor teams
  • Assisting in maintaining EAP Centre performance and meeting contractual quality standards
  • Implementing clinical policies and procedures to meet EAPA Standards and clinical governance
  • Participating in the recruitment and induction of new Telephone Counsellors and Telephone Information Specialists
  • Managing the teams Clinical mailbox and addressing all enquiries
  • Supervising and overseeing case management of Associate Counsellors and Specialist Practitioners
  • Participating in case consultation and the management of complex client work
