TeachMatch Recruitment is excited to partner with a fantastic SEN school in Gloucester in their search for a Qualified SEN Teacher. This is a rewarding opportunity for an experienced and passionate Teacher to make a significant impact on the lives of students with special educational needs.

As an SEN Teacher, you will work within a supportive and inclusive school environment, providing high-quality education to students with a range of learning difficulties and disabilities. You will play a key role in developing and delivering tailored learning plans, fostering a positive learning environment, and helping students reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging, personalised lessons to students with special educational needs.
  • Develop and implement Individual Education Plans to meet the unique needs of each student.
  • Support students in achieving their academic and social goals, promoting independence and self-confidence.
  • Collaborate with other teachers, teaching assistants, and specialists to provide a well-rounded educational experience.
  • Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback and adjustments to learning plans where necessary.
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment that caters to diverse learning needs.

About You:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Experience working with students with special educational needs (SEN) is highly desirable.
  • A compassionate, patient, and adaptable teaching style, with a genuine passion for supporting SEN students.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development and a willingness to learn new approaches to teaching.
  • A qualification in Special Educational Needs or a related field is beneficial but not essential.
