TeachMatch are currently recruiting for a multiple SEN Teachers for a wonderful school in Gloucester. The school provide a supportive and inclusive environment for students with a range of additional learning needs. As an experienced SEN Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality education tailored to the individual needs of our students. You will work closely with our experienced team of teaching assistants, specialists, and therapists to create a dynamic, inclusive learning environment that enables every student to succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to students with a variety of learning needs.
  • Assess studentsā€™ progress and adapt teaching strategies to ensure the best possible outcomes.
  • Work closely with other professionals, including teaching assistants and SEN support staff, to provide holistic support.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with students, families, and external agencies.
  • Contribute to the development of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and ensure that studentsā€™ needs are met.
  • Support the social and emotional development of students alongside their academic progress.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience working in SEN education.
  • Strong understanding of a wide range of special educational needs, including autism, dyslexia, and ADHD.
  • A patient, compassionate approach with the ability to engage and motivate students.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development and best practices in SEN education.
